How do I make an appointment for service?
You can schedule an appointment for our services by using the appointment form on our website, by phone, or by email. It is recommended that appointments be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance to ensure adequate scheduling. Same day appointments can also be attempted for emergencies, but are subject to availability of appointments on that day.
What do I need to bring to my first visit?
For your initial visit, please bring your identification, health insurance card (if applicable), and any relevant medical records or test reports. If you are taking other medications, please bring a list of your medications so that our herbalist can get a full picture of your health.
Can I use medical insurance?
Yes, we work with a number of private medical insurance companies, including Medibank, Bupa, AHM and others. The amount of insurance reimbursement depends on your insurance plan and level of coverage. It is recommended to check with your insurance company for specific reimbursement rates prior to your visit.
Does acupuncture treatment hurt?
The needles used in acupuncture are very fine and most people only feel a slight tingling or aching sensation during treatment. This sensation is often referred to as “getting qi” and is part of the healing effect. Our Chinese medicine practitioners are experienced and will try to minimise your discomfort.
